A beginning to the wedding events, the vidhi is performed to unite the bride and groom and to bring positive energy and blessings to the events to come. Multiple ceremonies are performed on this day to encourage all obstacles in our path toward marriage to be removed, to allow serenity, peace and prosperity to Greg and Rachel as they begin this new journey hand in hand.

Le début des événements de mariage est marqué par le vidhi, une cérémonie symbolique qui unit la mariée et le marié tout en insufflant une énergie positive et en attirant des bénédictions pour les festivités à venir. Plusieurs rites sont célébrés ce jour-là, visant à lever tous les obstacles sur le chemin du mariage, afin d'assurer sérénité, paix et prospérité à Greg et Rachel alors qu'ils entament ensemble ce nouveau chapitre de leur vie.

A ceremony of sharing love and blessings, pithi is a paste made of turmeric and rose water. This paste is applied to the bride and groom by their friends and families as a way to spread well wishes and shower them in love and blessings as they begin their wedding week. Come together, share laughter and smiles with Greg and Rachel, and help them kick off the weekend!

La cérémonie de pithi, symbole de partage d'amour et de bénédictions, consiste en l'application d'une pâte faite de curcuma et d'eau de rose sur la mariée et le marié, réalisée par leurs amis et leur famille. Ce geste est un moyen de leur transmettre des vœux de bonheur et de les envelopper d'amour alors qu'ils s'apprêtent à commencer leur semaine de mariage.
Nous vous invitons à nous joindre dans les jardins le 8 mai à 10h45 pour partager rires et sourires avec Greg et Rachel et les aider à débuter ce week-end mémorable.

En ce bel après-midi en Sardaigne, nous vous invitons chaleureusement à rejoindre Greg et Rachel au Théâtre de la Marina Beach. Ils ont organisé diverses activités divertissantes et souhaitent vivement votre présence.
Rendez-vous avec Greg et Rachel à 14h45 le 8 mai au théâtre.
Tenue : Décontractée et confortable. (Des chaussures de tennis ou des chaussures de sport faciliteront cette activité !)
Greg and Rachel know that for many of their friends and family, this is their first time traveling to Italy! They wanted to include a fun way to enjoy the island and see some of the hidden gems along Sardinia’s coast. On a private boat, Greg and Rachel have requested a few stops at some beaches along the coast including Cala Sisine and Cala Mariolu, then taking a tour through Fico Cave! To join them on this boat excursion, it is 66 euro per person, the maximum number of people who can join is 150 people. Please view the registration info on their wedding website to book your spot! Join the Patel and Ayimambenwe Families on a trip along the coast of Sardinia, soak up some sun and enjoy the view!

Welcome to our wedding Carnival! Garba is an Indian folk dance performed by many in the state of Gujarat in fall each year during the festival of Navratri. Here you can find many sweet treats, delicious foods, vibrant colors, beautiful dresses, shiny jewelry and lots of music and dancing. Enjoy this fun event with us celebrating the two families coming together in Sardinia!
Let’s all dance the night away at the Pagoda at 6:45pm before Greg and Rachel meet at the altar (Mandap) tomorrow!

Bienvenue à notre Carnaval de Mariage! Le Garba est une danse folklorique indienne, particulièrement célébrée dans l'État du Gujarat pendant le festival de Navratri chaque automne. Lors de cet événement, vous découvrirez une multitude de douceurs, de plats délicieux, de couleurs éclatantes, de magnifiques robes, de bijoux scintillants, ainsi qu'une ambiance musicale et festive.

The big day!
Greg and Rachel are SUPER excited to be able to share this special moment surrounded by all the people they love so deeply. These beautiful memories made together will be forever cherished. We will be starting off the ceremony with a dance party procession (Bharat) to the main wedding entrance. Here the Groom will make his way down the cobblestone path toward the brides’ family as they greet him at the door to the altar (Mandap). Rachel’s mother, Jyoti, will welcome Greg and his family and the wedding ceremony will commence. As you gather at the entrance of the Front Gardens, join in, dance and have a great time!

Greg et Rachel sont super excités de pouvoir partager ce moment spécial entourés de toutes les personnes qu'ils aiment profondément. Ces magnifiques souvenirs que nous créerons ensemble seront chéris pour toujours. Nous commencerons la cérémonie par une joyeuse procession de danse (Bharat) jusqu'à l'entrée principale du mariage. Là, le marié fera son chemin le long du chemin en pavés vers la famille de la mariée, qui l'accueillera à l’entrée de l’autel (Mandap). La mère de Rachel, Jyoti, accueillera Greg et sa famille, et la cérémonie de mariage commencera. Pendant que vous vous rassemblerez à l'entrée des jardins, n'hésitez pas à nous rejoindre, à danser et à vous amuser!

It was a night of heartfelt moments, where the couple’s love story was celebrated with style and grace, leaving everyone with memories of a truly magical evening. What’s a wedding without the celebration? Of course, Greg and Rachel’s wedding wouldn’t be complete without a Reception. The Patel and Ayimambenwe families cordially invite you all to gather for a formal dinner by the Pool at 5:45pm, followed by some performances, speeches, and dancing!
